The future of marketing

For a long time marketing has been about making yourself seen and heard. The loudest has been declared winner. In the future customers will have all the power and they will not tolerate distractive bahavior. So companies have to find new ways to focus their marketing efforts.

  1. Emotional satisfaction is I believe the answer to your last slide.
    Above product marketing needs to create value / image to the brand so that customers feel good with their purchases. Emotional satisfaction / looking cool with my new iPhone is what people are after. If the product, its usage / ownership transfers nothing to the consumer then marketing (in my mind) has failed in its very task.
